A leading automotive dealership, managing a high-volume of vehicles across multiple premium brands, are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Stock Controller to join the team
The Role:
As the Stock Controller, you will manage vehicle inventory and handle all aspects of the into stock process all the way to the vehicle registration, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for the dealership.
Your attention to details will be crucial in maintaining accurate records, coordinating with various departments, and providing top-notch service to our internal team and and customers.
- Stock management & administration.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all vehicle inventory.
- Coordinate with the sales departments to ensure timely and efficient stock management.
- Working closely with the new car managers to order new vehicle stock.
- Coordinating with other dealers for vehicle swaps.
- Handle all aspects of vehicle registration, including preparing and submitting necessary documentation to relevant authorities.
- Assist in lodgement of Fleet documentation and claims to manufacturer.
- Handle enquiries with Fleet Vehicles.
- Monitor and track vehicle movements, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with all regulations.
- Conducting regular stock audits and reconcile any discrepancies promptly.
- Liaising with the Pre-Delivery department in respect to vehicle preparation.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly reports on stock levels, vehicle registrations, and related metrics.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any inquiries related to vehicle registration and stock availability.
- Support the sales team with vehicle availability updates and accurate information on stock status.
YOU:
- Strong organisational and time management skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Conscientious and diligent, taking full ownership for tasks and duties.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in using dealership management software – If you’re an Excel Guru it’s a bonus!
- A positive can-do attitude and work ethic.
- Thorough understanding of vehicle registration processes and relevant regulations.
- Ability to communicate with a range of different stakeholders and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
