We are a growing company in the waste and recycling industry, are looking for a dedicated and experienced Electrical Service Technician with electrical qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service and maintain Recycling Equipment, Electrical and Mechanical.
- Work with interstate service contractors, providing them with spare parts, troubleshooting, and training.
- Provide after-sales support and troubleshooting to customers over the phone.
- Assist with in-house machine trials, set up and running.
- Conduct breakdown support, tag and test, and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to prepare electrical specifications for projects.
- Collaborate with sales and projects teams in discussions around electrical specifications, and OH&S
- Maintain good relationships with our suppliers with two way feedback
- Travel interstate as required.
Qualifications:
- A qualified electrician with experience in maintenance or industrial settings.
- Would suit someone with existing mechanical skills including pneumatics and hydraulics.
- A tag and test licence, OH&S qualification, and white card are useful but not required.
- Strong people skills is essential.
