We require an enthusiastic technically minded service engineer to join a team to be based in Brisbane, for an Australian distributor for Imaging equipment for a world leader in Mobile C-Arm systems.
To be considered for this role you will meet the following criteria:
- Qualifications in electrical/electronic engineering;
- Have had at least 2 years’ experience in a field service technical role;
- Have had experience with the medical device industry and with interfacing software to electronic hardware;
- Outstanding electronic hardware and software fault finding ability ;
- Demonstrated attention to detail;
- Demonstrated ability for good written and verbal communication
- Be highly motivated and well presented;
- Be a positive & resourceful team player;
- Demonstrate good customer relations and communication skills;
- Relevant EPA licence/s (preferable);
- Current QLD Drivers Licence;
- Australian citizens or Australian permanent residents only will be considered.
The successful applicant would be required to:
- Liaise with hospital staff such as Theatre Managers, Surgeons, Radiologists & Hospital Engineers;
- Service/repair mobile C-Arm equipment;
- Prepare reports;
- Be prepared to travel on occasions throughout Australia;
- Travel for overseas training may be required.
Previous experience in the Medical X-Ray Imaging field is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
