Alone but not lonely: the solo activities that help foster connection
Following a very unpleasant marriage separation, loneliness became a major issue for myself, and with mental health such a major concern these days, felt it only appropriate to share part of my own story to help others. This article, where I was interviewed about this topic, appeared in The Guardian this weekend. Nobody can know what we are each going through, perhaps we need to be more open to talking to people when we can. The R.U.OK concept is a wonderful one, but perhaps it needs to be every day rather than once a year.
