Job Seeker changes

The Federal Government has announced an increase of $50 per fortnight for Job Seekers, but they are changing the rules to try to ensure people are looking for work. However, in my experience, unless they put the resources in place, then those abusing the system will never be caught. We regularly receive resumes simply stating; "I am not looking for a job, just applying so I get my benefits." When we have raised this in the past with Centrelink, they simply state they do not have the resources to investigate. Fingers crossed this changes.
