Why won’t you return my calls?

I am heartbroken, what did I do wrong?

You applied for a job we had advertised, took the time to submit your resume,  and yet despite calls, emails and text messages, I don’t hear back from you?

Was it something I said?

Or, perhaps, you were simply applying for jobs to make your quota for your Centrelink payments.

I never cease to be amazed the number of times we try to contact people who have taken the time to send us their resume, yet never hear back from them, despite our making every possible attempt to call them.

Of course, they could have the wrong phone number on the resume, people quite often forget to update this vital information, but we also try to contact via email, still with no luck.

The thing is this, should you ever apply for a role we have advertised in the future, for which you may well be suited, guess what will happen?

That’s right, NOTHING.
