We are an Australian family owned and operated business are seeking a Storeperson – Spare Parts for ensuring that spare parts are processed efficiently to meet customer and service requirements. You will work within our Service and Spare Parts team to process customer and service department spare parts orders.
Some of the key tasks you will be performing are, but are not limited to;
• Spare Parts Stock Control
• Stock Adjustment and Transfer
• Stock Administration
• Pick and pack orders for dispatch
• Service and Cross Functional Support
• Phone and Email Sales backup support
• Ensure Parts are correct and on time for our Service Technicians
• Manage and build positive relationships with internal staff
• Working within a team environment.
Skills and experience
Experience:
• Positive attitude, punctual, ready to ‘roll-up the sleeves’ where required.
• Previous experience working in spare parts and inventory control will be looked upon positively.
• Previous experience in Warehousing.
• Understanding of technical parts or mechanical aptitude will be helpful.
• Previous experience with Warehouse Control disciplines
• Knowledge of ERP system and Office Suite such as Word and Excel
Skills:
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and a professional business manner.
• Leadership, supervisory and teamwork skills
• Experience interacting with both customers and internal personnel in a positive, co-operative and constructive manner while responding to complex situations or in periods of high volume workloads
• Attention to detail, ability to collect and accurately input data and customer order information into systems
• Good paperwork accuracy in the recording and processing of information
• The capacity to plan and organise are critical, as are sound numeracy skills
• The capacity to follow protocol when interacting with management is a fundamental requirement, so too is a proactive, enthusiastic and flexible approach to work.
