Have We Become A Nation Of Bludgers?

A recent Govt report showed that in August 2021, the unemployment number of people in Victoria was 149,000, and yet 258,000 were claiming a form of unemployment benefits, meaning 110,00 people claiming benefits, were not looking for work. Doing an analysis of the people on benefits who have applied for jobs we are advertising nationally in August and September, further highlights this issue. Of those people who submitted a resume to us; 78% failed to respond to our request to arrange an interview Clearly, we have an issue of people not wanting to work and simply submitting the designated numbers of job applications for jobs they have to, simply so they can receive their benefits.
